go to the tools menu (far right near the top) and then Internet Options. On the General tab there is a section for tabs - select the settings button.

Then check the first box (enable tabbed browsing) and check "Always switch to new tabs when they are created".

Make sure the radiobutton for "Always open pop-ups in a new tab" is selected, plus open links in "a new tab in the current window".

I think it will operate how you hope. It will create a new table for each link in its own tab instead of opening a new window.
