Hey Vic,

I did the helicopter tour thing two years ago. The views were amazing.....the Dam, Canyon and Strip were stunning. They dropped us in (we were with two other couples we knew) made us an OK lunch and gave us about an hour to knock around.
Being an idiot New Yorker, me and my buds spent the time turning over rocks looking for scorpions and taking some fabulous "moon" shots with the Canyon as our backdrop. I'd post some of the shots, but I don't wanna ruin your supper....

It was a little pricey (about $225 p/p or so) but I remember it fondly. I also liked that the whole thing took just half a day, and I was back at the tables before dinner!

I know this is probably not what you are considering but if you thought about it, it is worth doing.
