Several days ago a thread was started within which an individual was challenged to make a $100 donation to the . As an inducement, several individuals pledged to match the $100 donation, if the individual went forward with the donation.
I was one of those who made the pledge, stating that I would put up $100 in face value chips (20 $5 chips, hence 20-Red) for auction here on The Chip Board.
Needless to say, that individual has failed to make the commitment, but I do not want to renege on my intent, i.e., to donate $100 to the .
So, I am going forward with my intent to donate $100 to the with an auction of the 20-reds. However, instead of matching the $100 (that did not happen) I will donate the entire proceeds of the auction to the .
I will cover shipping costs (in the US) and will split the shipping costs outside the US.
Payment will need to be made to:
Mike Quinlivan
Treasurer
P.O. Box 249
Atwood, CA 92811-0249
(except for shipping)
Once Mike receives the check, I'll drop the items in the mail.
Lastly, the auction is now open and will close Monday, 8 January at 12:00 pm Chip Board time.
Bidding increments must be $5 or more, with a minimum bid of $100.
Good Luck and 20-red in the collection, is 35 times out of 36 better than 22-Black!
Good Luck,
Jim Follis
