I applaud your sentiment, and totally agree with your desires, but fear that reality precludes both.

The combination of corporate greed, special interest lobbying, and criminal behavior at every level of politics, has made it all but imposable for any hint of good or correctness to survive in government.

Barring an absolute miracle (which I don't see happening), this country is on it's way to hell in a handbasket.

And then we have global warming/climate change.
