One little surprise, or Got Wood? for sale

Here is one sweet chip rack! What we have here is a full-size Baccarat table's wooden chip rack, from the Silver Legacy in Reno. These are expensive to make, and rarely are made available to collectors (most manufacturers won't sell to you if you aren't a Casino). Dimensions? Approx 14 inches deep, by 3 feet wide. What we are talking about is 50 chips per rack in air-tites, and 20 rows! That's over 1000 chips, right?!?! (actually, if air-tite display is your goal; the row spacing is a bit tight, as it was designed for naked chips - but it is doable. Better to alternate naked rows with air-tited ones...). These racks just drop into the appropriate space on the table - you could possibly add this to an existing table, or build a table for it...

Check the pics out carefully - this rack could stand an oiling, but we all know what that would do to chips; I actually like the aged look of it as-is. One side has come off, and would be easy for any handy person to fix (a couple of framing nails and some wood glue, I should think).

It's a great rack, that just oozes with gambling history; I'll take offers through the weekend, but if there isn't sufficient interest I'll be putting it on eBay next week. HERE'S YOUR CHANCE FOR A REAL NICE DISPLAY RACK! If I was to keep it, I'd fix the end, rotate the 804-BC sign, put a picture hanger on the back, and let the rack display all those wonderful edges - although it wouldn't be fun if somebody bumped against it - these are things you can ponder!

Yep, that's the original Silver Legacy table ID tag!

I always wanted to say this, "chips not included!"

Note that the very left edge of the first row has warped-up a bit; again, I don't think this would be difficult to remedy when the end is attached with glue & nails.

(below) Don't think he's alive? Just put your finger near him, and see what happens! OooowwwwW!!!
