The White House Club chips date to 1936. The place was in Lake County (northern suburbs of Chicago)on Rt. 22 just east of Half-Day Rd. The address in the Hunt book is a drop. It was run by Rocco Fischetti (cousin of Al Capone) and Gus Liebe...basically the same guys who ran the Vernon Country Club. The place was still open when the owners were indicted in 1948.
