Jim ----- There is nothing in your post to indicate that your comments were meant to be taken tongue-in-cheek. Coming from someone else, it might have been implied; coming from you, I for one didn't see it. One of the problems with posting written messages is that there are no intonations, no facial expressions or body language to help pick up on unstated meanings. That, of course, is the reason that emoticons were invented. Perhaps you brought this unfavorable response on yourself by assuming that everyone else would see that on this occasion you were not being serious.
I have had numerous transactions with Don Lueders in the past year and have found him to be friendly, courteous and helpful. I have also noticed that he frequently provides informative answers to questions posed on this BB, without seeming to expect anything in return.
Credit where credit is due: you also are very helpful and generous with your extensive knowledge of chips, casinos, gambling personalities, etc. I greatly enjoy reading your posts on those subjects and appreciate the time you spend in posting them. The discussion currently on the board regarding the Plaza chip is a good example of the kind of friendly, courteous exchange of information which makes this board a pleasure to read. I for one would prefer to see more of this and less of the other. Once again, just my opinion. ----- jim o\-S
