Katie,
Actually you also know someone that was kicked out of the Bellagio. My story isn't too long, yet verifies the policies at the Bellagio.
My wife, son and I stayed at Caesars Palace Thanksgiving of 98. My son was 3 years old at the time. We wanted to go to the Excalibur and yet my son wanted to ride the "train". So we took the tram from Bally's to the MGM, and walked over to Excalibur. After playing some games in the arcade, it was getting close to the time the little guy takes his nap (yup Dad needed one too!!!), so we walked over to the Monte Carlo and took the tram over to the Bellagio. Since we didn't want to walk around, we decided to walk through the Bellagio. We say a lot of "security" and they were busy watching the people getting off of the tram. We actually got into the Bellagio, past a couple of shops - our son wasn't making any noise, and he was walking in between my wife and I. A few moments later I felt a tapping on my shoulder. I turned around, and a Security guard asked me if we were registered guests at the Bellagio. I told him no, and that we were staying at Caesars. He told me that we couldn't bring a minor into Bellagio. I told him no problem, and went on to explain that we wanted to get back to Caesars so the little guy could take a nap. I then asked him how to get over to Caesars. BOY the surprised look on his face! I guess he was expecting to have a verbal fight. He told us how to go around Bellagio, and we said 'thanks'. We turned around and walked out - he stood there in amazement...
Later that night I walked back to the Bellagio by myself - my wife and son were up in our room. I wanted to see what Bellagio was all about. When I walked up to the casino past the shops in the walkway near Caesars - once again I felt a tapping on my shoulder! I turned and another jacketed security guard was looking at me. He asked me if I was Mr. <I forgot the name....>. I said that I wasn't and my name was Richard Covington. He looked at me and said that I look exactly like Mr. <...>. I said that I feel sorry for him! The security guard laughed, and walked with me to the casino. I thanked him and said that I wanted to look around the casino, and may be make a deposit. Once again he laughed and said to have a good evening...
As it turned out I actually did make a deposit... Oh well...
So, I guess that may be I can go back to the Bellagio. May be you can also go back to the Luxor?!?
I hope you have a good time with the LimoStudMuffins! Bring back a lot of Chips for us!!! (And photos! <VBG>)
Regards,
Dick
