Our club has a table reserved for us, but unfortunately we have no CC>CC members who are also ANA members to man the booth. Should any one be an ANA member and wish to staff the table, I have everything needed; club banner, magazines, convention flyers and membership applications. My plans were to staff the table as I do each year at the Florida United Numistmatists Convention, but a last minute change in schedule now makes it impossible. Any International coin show of this size (250+ tables) is always an excellent opportunity for meeting people who can help one in adding on to their collection.
I would like to suggest that a club officer contact the ANA requesting that they allow members of our club to staff future club tables being that our club is a member of the ANA. Since there is no business permitted at a club table, I feel there shouldn't be any reason why one or two of our members are not permitted to help. The ANA 2000 is being held in Philadelphia this year (August), and I know our club will have a table...so perhaps this would be a good time for one of the club officers to write.
