I make chip runs while my wife is playing 21. It took me three days
of 3 hour runs to collect a stack of $1 from each casino on the strip
plus LV Hilton, Wild Wild West 7 Rio. We got Jean and Primm on our
way home. (35 casinos total) I think I made about 3 cents an hour
on the last two auctions and that doesn't count valet and cage tokes.

But, I'm not in it for the money (on the $1 sets anyway). When I first
started collecting a fella named Dan Bakker had a set of 15 chips
which included some obsoletes. It was a very good start. Also,
if you go to the cage and tell them you're a collector, it's amazing
how many cage people will go to the back and get you uncirculated $1 chips.
