It's like everything else, we pride ourselves in "freedom" yet we do little to protect ourselves from those that would take advantage of us. What good is anything if we don't impliment and enforce safequards against fraud? We have become easy victims and there are few that have the will to put a stop to it. Anything can be controlled, problem is, we seem not to want them!!!! So, we are ripped off twice, once through fraud and then again through higher prices and fees. What puzzles me is that we just take it in stride as part of everyday life. I'll probably never live to see the day that the American population stands up and says we are tired of this and won't take it any more.
