Most of the 2800 members of this club would agree that having a third party reproduce a chip making it look identical to another chip and selling it is an authentic chip ethically wrong for the hobby.
Most of the 2800 members of this club would agree that having a third party recoat a chip making it look identical to another chip and selling it is an authentic chip ethically wrong for the hobby.
So can YOU or any other club member guarantee that if you have a chip fixed in ANY way, it won’t get resold as an authentic chip?

I will NOT knowingly buy any altered chip.
I will NOT have any altered chip in my collection.
I will NOT buy ANY chip from any dealer who sells altered chips.
I will NOT buy ANY chip from any dealer who sends their chips to someone who fixes altered chips.
I will NOT do business of any kind with any dealer who participates in any way in the practice of having chips altered.
