I guess I owe a little better answer.
You know some of this but others do not.
I have been investigating Bill Borland and his chips since 1995. 12 years.
I think I know as much or more about him than most others.

It seems to be a never ending story.
I had access to Bud Jones records before they were destroyed. I am sorry to say I was not allowed to copy them.

Bill Watson of the HHR Hoot Gibson's D4C Ranch chip, was a wealth of information on Borland.

Larry Caswell, club member, married into the Bud Jones family, came from Kansas City with Bud Jones in 1965 after the CJ break up. He was the only salesman BJ had in those days. He was friends with Borland. He was a wealth of information on Borland. Larry had one of the personalized autographed Borland Blue Books.
Being the only salesman he knew which customers he had and which ones he did not have. He knew Borland beat him out on the Sahara roulette order. He knew Borland beat him out on the Hotel NV Battle Mountain order.

David and I found Borlands sample box of chips. There were 2 to 3 of 90% of the chips he produced in the box.

I talked to Borlands brother last week. Also found his sister who handled Borlands estate and fought (and lost) to Jerry Wall for the Borland store and chips. Also found Borlands ex-wife, the one before Starr.

Jim Blanchard has given us access to Atlantic Standards records on Borland. He is a wealth of information.

The Castaways and Foxy's chips are not Borlands, as you know.

Castaways: Even though the Bud Jones records were destroyed after Bud died, there exists today information on both the coin inlay and H&C Osborne counterfeits. I was given access to it. You will have to trust me on this one as someone would lose their job if I disclosed it. I have told you some of this info.

If you still think some of the Castaways coin inlays are NOT Osborne's, you are simply wrong.
Foxy's: I have a copy of the chip production record. Enough said.

I might not know it all, but I know a lot!!!!
I don't have all of Borlands chips but I have 747 different of them (with 5 more on the way in the mail). Hopefully someday this important piece of chip history will be displayed in a Club Building for all members to see.
