A very old view of the Flamingo
The 21 Club at the Last Frontier
This is the casino that had the great looking die-cut chips
Last Frontier Village, Golden Slipper Casino.
When the ___ Slipper opened (1950, I think) there was a casino on the Boulder Highway named the Silver Slipper. So the Slipper on the Strip actually opened with the name Golden Slipper. I think it took them about 3 months to buy the name from the Boulder Highway club and change their name from Golden Slipper to Silver Slipper. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, Strip history isn't my best thing...) Anyway, this card shows the Golden Slipper
