Both Jim Follis AND Belinda Hixon are well qualified candidates for the position they are seeking and the club would benefit should either one win. I came out early and endorsed Belinda Hixon based on her past perfomance. It was not until late in the game ... (close to the deadline for nominations) that Jim Follis was nominated. I think that Jim Follis may have generated more support had he announced earlier that he was seeking the position. I could support either candidate, I like both and consider them to be friends, but unfortunately only one individual will be declared the winner. The club wins however, either way this election goes.

Regarding the "other contested office" ... it is my personal opinion there is NO CONTEST in this particular race as one of the candidates (who is "not afraid to stand up" ... but who has not stood up) can't be taken seriously!
