"I wish people would calm down and reflect fairly on this. There is too much exaggeration, suggestion of impure motives in others, needling other members, digression from the main issue and setting up of straw men (issues) to knock over." Robert Eisentadt
Robert; Since you have now been drawn into the fray .... Bottom Line: Posting your suggestions on this bb ain't going to change the Auction 2000 rules one bit.... even if some of your points may have merit.
Club members who have suggestions regarding any club rules or policies in effect, who wish to see changes made, MUST PRESENT THEM TO THE ELECTED BOARD OF OFFICERS for their action. Participants on this bb (a very small percentage of club members) do not make the rules for the club.... no matter how persuasive their arguments are.
You've stated your wish Robert; My constructive rational suggestion is to follow-up with communications to those individuals who have been elected to make decisions on behalf of the entire membership. The officers may agree with your positions or reject them. However, it is the decision(s) of the elected Board which governs this organization.... not a few people on a public bulletin board who think they have a better idea... and they very well may have!
