I was waiting in line/at the registration table for hours before the scheduled time to begin accepting registrations.

Because of all the hype (on this board prior to the convention) , a few of us thought that might be the only way to be assured of a seat at the table.

I agree, after the first hour of so of waiting in line it was obvious that there was not going to be a "mob scene".... but by then it was too late to be (or go) elsewhere so we stayed in the line.

You're right. In hindsight, I wasted 3 hours of my Las Vegas vacation standing in the line when it was not really necessary. It won't happen again <<gg>>
