Someone I don't know & have no desire to meet, sent me an e-mail about limited edition chips that New York, New York is going to issue. The details were sketchy but this is what I gleaned from the note.
1. You have to be Jewish & prove that you were born in either Brooklyn or the Bronx.
2. $1, $5 & $25 chips will be issued & they can be purchased at the cage for face value. If you buy them at the tables, you can get them wholesale.
3. All chips MUST be purchased before 5:30PM & you get a discount at the buffet. In Florida that's the early bird cutoff.
4. If you had a Bar Mitzvah & can prove it, you get a frame with the chips. I think they also throw in a pen, but that wasn't clear.
5. $100 chips will be only be available to life members of Hadassah.
6. No exchanges or returns.
