You guys never cease to amaze me...
Here we are, 5 months from the convention date, the tournament just having been announced and the "us" against "them" stuff has started all over. Wasn't this an issue last year? Wasn't it decided then that the registration should be open to everyone? What's changed? Why does the online community always want the jump on things?
There are over 2000 members of this organization, many of whom are not online. (Notice I did not say MOST) Allowing all the seats to be taken before the full membership is made aware of the tournament certainly isn't fair. *IF* a sign-up sheet in the club magazine (which I don't believe will happen) is good enough for those who aren't online, may I suggest that it's good enough for those who are.
Why don't you guys all sit back and relax, let the Poker tournament committee do its thing and just be glad that there is going to be a tournament at all. The details will be filled in soon enough.
