but please don't bad mouth people that run trains for a living.

It's not like it used to be. A tough job and something that takes alot of talent and alot of knowledge to do the job.

I would not recommend it to ANYONE for a career choice.

If you think we are over paid well so be it but remember that the next time you see a 1 1/2 mle train bearing down on your community the person running it may be fatigued. You say, "Well, get some sleep." That is tough to do when you have to try and maintain a family, a relationship, and still bring home the bacon.

What I and Lynn make is peanuts compared to the rest of the world. I didn't take the bar exam because I decided I didn't want to be a scumbag lawyer. Lynn just decided working for C&NW was an admirable profession, but then UP bought them and changed all that.
