Bob; This is a subject that I believe was discussed earlier when the chips first came out. No, I don't believe this chip is an "error"... in the true sense of the word. I think it more fits the definition of a mistake..... similar to the Bell Star Claridge issue in which they left off the "e" in Belle. My personal opinion is that the same reverse inlay was mistakenly placed on the two chips in question. They are all like that.... which takes it out of the "error" category. Hope my explanation has merit.
