I checked the FNPR, and here is the Contents list:
Ethyl Acetate, Alcohol, Water, Glycerin, Isopropyl Alcohol, Gelatin, Fragrance, Castor Oil, Propyl Acetate, Benzophenone-1, Denatonium Benzonate, Red 17.

Looks like a group of solvents to me...

When I have removed GHS from chips to view the inlay below it, I dip the q-tip in the FNPR and gently rub it on the GHS. I also dry it with a paper towel, and repeat as needed. An example of how well it works (or not) can viewed on Greg's President Tunica page with the $100 CG03803.

The Basketball hot stamp was on both sides, and I removed it from one side only.

On any chip that I remove the hot stamp from, I only remove the GHS from one side only. Leaving the other side with the GHS intact. That way the chip will not be confused as being an un-canceled version of that chip.
