I see them mostly "entombed", but "free" as well. You have an interesting point, as a large number of these chips do show up "entombed". I don't know who came up with "Estimated condition survivors is 700". This casino was open from 6-4-92 to 9-30-94. Perhaps when the casino closed 700 chips were sitting around that had never been used? Maybe a great many more were on the tables? I'm just guessing, but I do know that this chip is far from "rare".
