when scanned it shows as shown. My HP 3-in-one does the same thing. Hot Pink, orange and other colors do not reproduce well with these cheaper scanners.

I have always felt it was a function of light bulb and/or the receptor. My older (now broken) large-size flat-bed scanners never had this problem. In fact, my Apple scanner was, no pun intended, spectacular!
