We've been led to believe we were paying for air-mail all along. Up until 18 months ago they were arriving by airmail.
I took this up with the BOD. I supplied copies of old envelopes. The only response I got was "we will look into it"
That was 6 to 9 months ago.
Looks like something did change. The last mag arrived via Germany, and took even longer than the previous ones.

There are two issues.
The method of delivery, and the price we are being charged.

There is a USPS 'International Priority Airmail' service specifically for letters/periodicals.
Actual cost is $6.10
If you mail sufficient for the bulk discount then its $5.10
BUT, those are the rates for UK/Europe. I was told this method was not used because it cost more to other countries.
If that is the case then maybe there should be different rates for different locations.

If you do the numbers from what I posted yesterday on the club board, you will see that foreign subscribers are clearly subsidising US members postage costs.
