I saw something very interesting on the news last night, Apparently if you don't maintain activity on your bank accounts or if you move and don't give a forwarding address then any money you have in a bank account, from a utility or money that you are owed from somewhere else that cannot be delivered to you is sent to your state treasurer or comptroller who holds onto it until you or an authorized family member makes a claim.

On my blogger page I compiled a list of websites for all U.S. States and their online search databases (See link below). Just remember if you do find that a state does have money for you how about throwing a few chips my way.
