There were lots of slot-club cards at Casinorama. I found these cards at
Mel's table. Had no idea these existed!
Note the card from The Mint, downtown, that closed 10 years ago! I'm
sure there were no card readers on the machines then. These must have
been part of a manually-tracked comp system.
Second, look at the Stratosphere Club card. I first thought this was a
premium-level Stratosphere card. But it says Vegas World! But it has a
pic of the Stratosphere tower! This must have been produced while the
Stratosphere was in the planning stages and they used the name for a
premium level comp card. Anyone have specific knowledge of how this
platinum card was used? There is no name on the one I have.
Finally.... I thought I was pulling something outrageous out of the air
when I responded to Rene's post a couple of weeks ago about unusual
casino collectibles. I bragged about my collection of valet parking
receipts. Lo and behold, Mel had a plastic card used for that purpose
from Sport of Kings, Race and Sports Book! Back has a pic like a playing
card. First card in my valet parking receipt collection!
I picked up a few duplicate slot-club cards as I always do. The link
below will show you 20 or so I'd like to trade for cards I don't have.
Particularly looking for non-Nevada. Most I'll trade 1 for 1. A couple
of the obsolete's or hard to gets are 1 for 2. LMK if you have traders.
