I got up to the Mazatzal Casino Payson Arizona last Saturday. There are big changes on the way. There is a major addition in progress with new hotel and casino being built.
They are using the same rack of chips. We can hope the new additions will mean some new chips.
The slot machines have gone over to paper tickets. When the Mazatzal opened they did not even have tokens the slots were 25 and fifty cent machines. It was a big disappointment after driving sixty miles into the mountains over what was then a bad mountain road. The present highway is divided all the way to Payson.
The only difference in the slot cards from my last visit is they punch a small hole rather than a slot and the customer name is printed in white letters.
