I stayed there one night about eleven or twelve years ago...my friend's "bachelor weekend". It was the only place that we could get ten rooms for one night on a holiday (MLK birthday) weekend. Dirty room, toilet not on straight (tilted does NOT help when you are drunk ) but the absolute worst was getting to bed at about 4:30 that morning...and having the loudest freaking trash trucks ever put on the planet picking up from the Flamingo (right outside our window) at 4:45 . When we all get together, we still share or stories & tales of woe & laugh for hours .

Now that being said, the ONLY place that I have checked in to and not stayed was the Tropicana last year. The room was a pig sty, the floors so filthy that you wanted to wash your shoes after walking across it. Nice thing was they (the Tropicana front desk) knew it & gladly refunded our money !! Steve B
