I don't know (nor do I care to know) the history between these two, or Scott himself, but there has been much worse.

If you think about it, that particular comment was always a good laugh-getter in High School, though I think Scott got it turned around a bit from the way I remember it.

Certainly it is no less troublesome than trying to perform amazingly acrobatic maneuvers with rolling donuts.
