For those people that want to track their movie DVDs, here's an awesome website that has a free database. All you have to do is enter the name of your movie, and then click to "add to Owned" and poof, it's now in your collection. You can tag that movie as many things, i.e., owned, loaned, wanted, watched, etc.
Each movie detail shows the cover of the DVD, and the actors, run time and a ton of other useful information.
A nice feature is you can email someone the link, and then they can also see your collection. You can enter a "Movie Night", where you you enter people to email an invitation to your movie night. There's also a forum there to discuss movie topics in a chipboard like message board.
There's a gazillion other features at this site and the best is it's all free.
To take a look around, feel free to click the link below and see my dvd collection.
I'm not associated in any way with this place, I just happen to have found it recently, and I've found it a great resource.
When you click to the website via the link I am giving below, it takes you to my Front Page. There you can see a listing of the most recently added movies. If you then click the tab for "Owned". You can do a search of my collection by a few different ways. You can search by letter, you can search by page, you can search by scrolling, you can search for a specific movie. It's great.
Here's the link to go to my dvd page.
