Sorry for the mixed message.

Volunteering for club work takes a special person. Yep, if the world was a perfect place, anyone with a desire could volunteer and not have to worry about taking abuse (warranted or not).

My point is just that you won't find complainer-free clubs out there....or if you do, they won't be worth being a part of.

Some people aren't made for volunteer service (even though they have valuable assistance to offer). That's no negative reflection on them, just the way it is.

My primary point, perhaps, is that it's not much use to anyone to complain without suggesting a correction to the pain, but it's also not much use to complain about complainers either.

You can't please everyone, so ya, got to please yourself (wow, that's almost lyrical).

So, give the complainers the attention they deserve ;) and carry on.
