I think that Charles' point was/is that many folks who might be inclined to volunteer may be turned off by the constant barrage of anti-club messages. The constant UNJUSTIFIED criticisms by negative whinners who are carrying BIG CHIPS on their collective shoulders has caused many good people to keep their mouth shut and not get involved in the organized part of this hobby. Not everyone is capable of "growing thick-skin" as Paul has suggested. Several well-intentioned people without thick skin simply walk away and turn their back on the hobby by throwing in the towell ... while the complainers and whinners stick around to continually stir the pot.

Sorry Paul ... but I for one am not going anywhere by "moving on". I think those who do not enjoy this hobby anymore should be the ones to "move on" and find something else to do with their time that gives them pleasure, rather than attempting to diminish other folks pleasures.
