Aaron, I agree with everything you have said. My gripe is with those that make it perfectly clear that they do not want to belong to the CC & GTCC but still want to have a say in the club's policies. The dues issue and slabbing come to mind.
At least two people that I am thinking of constantly put down the club just because they disagree with certain club policies. I've stated this before on this board. If someone disagrees with a club policy he or she has two choices. Learn to live with it or do whatever must be done to change it. All the b1tching, crying, ranting, raving, arguing, insulting etc. is not going to change anything.
For example. I support the club position on slabbing. If an individual or group of individuals could get the policy changed I would have to learn to deal with the new policy or work to get it changed again. The BOD can't please everyone.
