I certainly agree that is usually better to get involved and try to be constructive. I don't feel that you must be a member to have an opinion.

Now if this were not a public forum, or if the organization was not placing itself in a position to be subject to legitimate outside interest, I would have a different view. I don't think I should express opinions on the inner workings of your family, unless you or others make those issues part of the public interest (ie child abuse etc).
