Obviously a loaded question David.
Maybe I should have asked someone to show me how slabbing and grading have helped and improved other hobbies.
Instead of asking for the easy one, how it's killed every one that it has infested.
The part about the grading service that got sued for fraud, because they were also marketing, their over valued coins to old folks as an investment, would be enlightening.
Of course it came with the no guarantee promise that they have no guarantee or authenticity of true value, just an educated opinion, which is worth as much as the paper it's written on, and nothing more.
Why would someone buy anything, based only on some self appointed grading and valuation service, which has NO ACCOUNTABILITY to any agency or control? No tracability or certification guidelines, except the training to run a printer, and sonic sealing machine.
