I keep a list of various red and white wines that I have bought in the past including how much I paid and my personal opinion of each one. When I go to the liquor store I just take the list and use it as a reference. Course I only go to the store about twice a year and then fill the wine rack to the top.

Funny thing happened a few weeks ago. We were in the fancy part of town and I had to kill some time waiting on Cindy to finish a doctors visit. I had the wine list with me and went into a liquor store to check our the selection and prices. After following me around for a few minutes and asking me twice if he could help me the clerk said that he didn't want me comparison shopping. Needless to say I told him apparently my money wasn't any good as I walked out the door. Went to my usual place and spent $350. Too bad for him.
