There was a thread recently on the board about coin inserts in some chips being punched out and swapped, replaced, etc.
I was organizing some chips that had sat in tubes since last Convention and ran across this one.
One side says Bodega, Deadwood S.D. with the $ symbol.
The other side says Leading Leisure Casino's (sp?) and has the British Pound symbol on it.
The coin is very snug within the chip and I don't see any obvious signs of prying or hammering to get the coin in or out.
Are the coin inserts made of one piece or two pieces of metal?
The patina on the brass coin of both sides appears to be about the same.
Any opinions as to if this is a true error chip or a fake?
Thanks,
