The House failed to obtain a required 2/3rds majority to pass a bill that would have limited Indian triabes to build casinos only on their own tribal lands. Sen. McClain believes that issue is dead this year. Hopes that the other anti-gambling bill (expanding the laws against on-line gaming) would be voted on by the Senate wane as the Congress shuts down on the 29th.
Also in the business section of the Review/Journal is a story on the Wynn proposal to split dealer tokes with supervisors. Legal it is said.
