Thanks for the info. Sounds like Tivo has got it right. Any idea how much they will cost? Do you know if they will charge for listings?

I too have been using a PVR for years. I bought one of the first ReplayTVs. After that died I made my own using an old PC and a TV capture card. This works very well. In fact, I still use it to record my analog stations. After getting an HD set, I moved to the Motorola HD PVR.

I can understand your gripes about the Motorola, especially with only 3 days of listings. Mine gets 10 or 11 days. I also use a Pronto universal remote which allows me to setup macros so I don't have to deal with the user interface as much as most. My biggest problem with it is its responsiveness. Mine sometimes will take forever to respond to the remote. It would be nice to have another option that is more user friendly and that I can buy vs rent.
