Advertiser booths at the WSOP were not "dot com" companies. Notice they were "dot something else" advertising a company, but not the actual on line gaming company.
The ads on hat, shirts, jacket logos at the final table or filmed games are agreed upon between the players and companies prior to playing. An "in the money" player I met from Hawaii was in a small buy in tournament ($2000 buy in) was given the option to sign a package for a fee, that is, the player was offered an honorarium for wearing logo items at the final tables. He said the amount was substantial, depending on how long they lasted.
