I have visited the site a number of times over the last 15 years (and have the rocks in my garden to prove it) .... If you take the tour down to the bottom of the site, you will notice that the progression is much faster with todays technology and machinery. There is a website that is worth looking at.. very interesting..!

If you only view the carving from the highway or just the side, it does appear that not much has changed.

The tour is really worth the few dollars they charge.
