Channel Six (Philadelphia) had a lead story on the 5:30 news. They reported that the Sands will close sometime in mid-November and the entire existing building will be torn down.

"Pinnacle spokeswoman Pauline Yoshihashi said her company has not yet prepared designs for the new casino, but said it will be substantially bigger.
