by the officers elected to their postion based in part by the candidates' opposition allowing the display and/or sale of slabbed chip on the convention floor.
As a Democrat/Replublican, you may not like what the opposing party is doing while they are in office, but they are doing (hopefully ) what they promised to do during their campaign...just as the current officers have done. Things can and do change by the power of the vote...slabbing was allowed on the convention floor and now it's not -- because of the power of the vote. If there isn't an "opposing" ticket, nothing will change -- plain and simple.
To me, of bigger concern (if I was to get my chips slabbed), is all those names on the "Slab-Free" list that would limit tremendously the number of potential buyers & sellers of your items. In my opinion, slabbing only brings peace of mind to the current owner and does nothing to add to the value or peace of mind of a future buyer.
We have elections for a new BOD of the coming up soon. If you want the "limitations" removed, run for office as part of a "Pro-Slabbing" ticket that, if elected, can make those changes. Until such time when both clearly diverse sides are represented in an election and the choice is made by the voting members, nothing will change.
