My favorite Stardust memory is from the very first time I visited Vegas in 1976. It was the second day of a three day visit, and my gambling luck up to that point had been absolutely awful, I was tapped out. One of my buddies spotted me $2 for a roll of nickels. I sat down at a nickel slot near the front door of the casino and managed to win almost $20. WooHoo! From there I went to a craps table. I took a spot, and waited for it to be my turn to roll. I put one $5 chip on the pass line, and started tossing the dice, telling the friend who gave me the $2 that I was going to make five passes in a row, and I was going to let the pass line bet ride each time. That's exactly what happened! I parleyed that $5 chip into $160! I picked up my chips, passed the dice to the next shooter, and walked away. That was sooooo much fun!
