I see where the freshman Sam Young will be starting at right offensive tackle. A lot of coaches would be scared to start a true freshman in an opener on the road, but Charlie Weis will always play the best player, no matter what.

Notre Dame’s offense is too potent and the defense will be better than people think. The defense obviously is not as good as the offense, and part of that is all the rules today are made to bring more offense into the game. But Notre Dame’s defense will be good enough to help the Irish win the national title this year.
