Those words are my response. The CCGTCC took care of the David Whalen problem. I commend President Mike Skeleton for his leadership in handling the repairs and alterations situation that was a great threat to the hobby. If others make similar attempts, I am sure that the membership and officers of the CCGTCC will again thwart their efforts. There is strength in numbers and power is when you use that strength to your advantage. That is the power of our hobby.

Although Mr. Whalen already caused considerable damage, he would leave a far worse legacy to our hobby if he were some how responsible for the acceptance of slabbing casino chips. I think that I might stop collection casino chips if I could no longer trust what I was buying.
