"You kept a 1997 message from the Prodigy BB?"
What I kept was the Prodigy Board archives for the board we all used back then. You could download the messages into a program set up for that & then read them offline. Once we all moved over here, I just kept it.
Below is Greg's post on the old Prodigy Board, reminding us that he started The Chip Board a couple of days earlier. It's from March 9th, 1998

"Just a reminder that if you haven't stopped by yet there is a new gathering place for Casino Chip Collectors on the Internet. That's right. Now you can interact with other chip collectors on a Bulletin Board provided just for chip collectors. It's free and ready for use right now.
Many of the people you will find on this new board aren't members of Prodigy and before now there just wasn't a way to converse with them in a Bulletin Board type setting. We've had nearly 100 messages posted in the last few days from collectors wanting to buy, sell and trade chips. You can post images and links with your messages. The messages are displayed in threaded order so that you can easily understand the "flow" of the conversations.
Post your trade list Post a list of chips you're looking for Ask a question Provide an answer
Did you put a chip in one of the online auctions? Post a picture and provide a link directly to the chip to promote your auction! That's just a few of the many things people are doing right now on the Casino Chip Collectors Bulletin Board. Try it out! Point your browser"
Got a chip you can't identify? Show it to everyone easily by posting it's picture in your message.
