Hi Marc,
I want to apologize for the rude treatment you received from one of our members on this board. I know you are not a regular here, and I seem to remember you also had some unfriendly remarks posted the last time you visited. Most of the members who post here are gentlemen. My experience tells me it's best just to ignore the flames. The jerks who post them will eventually go away if they don't get responses to their provocative remarks. Obtaining help in identifying or valuing chips you have come across is one of the most valuable features of an on-line forum like this. Don't be shy about asking in the future.
I have never owned or handled the International Las Vegas chips you asked about but will tell you what I know about them. By the way, I had no problem viewing your chips.
The $5 and $25 are both listed in The Chip Rack with values in the $50-75 range.
The $100 is also listed, although it has a footnote that it is seldom traded or that the supply may be controlled by one or more dealers. The estimated value is $500-600. Its TCR number is V1002.
Although I'd like to bid on these chips on eBay myself, I have to say that's not the optimum place to sell a chip like the International $100. There are not enough high-end collectors who visit this site yet to make a good auction in that forum. I'd suggest a private treaty sale, or consignment to one of the national auctions, like those run by Howard Herz or Dean and Jodi would bring more spirited bidding. If you're in no rush, this type of chip would do well in the club auction scheduled for next June.
Hope to see you continue to visit and participate on this board!
