The Flamingo Club was located in Naples Italy as part of the Military club system at the US base located there.

Tokens of this type were issued in denomations of of 5c, 10c, and 25c, for use in slot machines and/or credit purposes. Tokens were issued in both brass and plated prass and vary in worth from 42.00 to 45.00.

Tokens are listed in Volume 2 (Overseas Location) of the book on military club tokens published by Paul A. Cunningham.

A similiar token was issued with FLAMINGO / CLUB / MAPLES, Italy (incuse) and a blank revers.
